Dean Jeffries Builds The Monkee Mobile
      In 1966 Dean Jeffries builds, NBC's

 The Monkees   TV Show.                                                             

      Dean Jeffries, is expecting, Pontiac,

  to drop off, a new 1966 Pontiac GTO

  convertible, at his, Jeffries Styling

  Studio. It comes and he starts, to

  transform it in The Monkee Mobile.

    It has a two-speed Turbine 300 

  automating transmission.

    Jeffries tear down, of the rear half,

  includes: removes, rear seat, rear, deck.  

  panel, trunk floor, rear window frame,

  convertible top, hardware, interior

  trim and bumper. The purpose, is to

  create The Monkees open, threefold 

  cabin, extended body. Cutting open the

  trunk, to form, the third row. Jeffries,

  cuts, the trunk bulkhead, the trunk

  floor, and rear support structure. He

  then extends the cabin rearward, 

  building. a bench seat. This is where; 

  the former   trunk was. He, reinforces,

  the floor sides. It creates, The Monkees,

  signature, long, open interior. 

     Jeffries installs a fuel cell, inside the

   gas tank.                                                                 

    Chassis and suspension for wheelies. 

  Jeffries, modifies the chassis, specifically,

  for TV stunts. He, solid mounts the rear

  differential, with no springs, with ballast,

  to the rear. Reinforces frame rails, adjust,

  pinion angle, for upward lift, capable of,

  wheelies for camera. This is why, it felt,

  like, a tank, mainly, the two-speed,

  automatic transmission, had no driving

  power to the rear wheels.

     So, Jeffries, removes the rotors in the

  blower, installs a single plane carburetor

  manifold, fabricates, adapter plate, to

  mate, with carburetor, to blower housing.

  on top of blower, for visual effect. Adds,

  the Duesenberg, headers on the sides on

  the blower, that hook into the megaphone

  pipes. On top the blower, is a Enderle, 

  three-injector scoop, blacked out.

  the match the blacked-out grills.

    Jeffries has open slots on both front

  fenders, after the front wheel wells are the

  panels, to slip the megaphones pipes, into    

  the ends of the Duesenberg, ribbed, tubes,

  of the headers. These are held in place, with

 brackets to prevent vibration during filming.

 

    Dean Jeffries is popping the parachute in

 The Monkee Mobile at top 60 years ago, after,

he finished in his shop. Customx

The custom rear back is also equipt with a
 white parachute,when closed.But if you used it,you
 will find it is white,and red.Infact,Kelloggs actually,
had a special red and white that said Kelloggs when
 you pop the chute.However,that was a publicty for
 advertising their product,since Kelloggs was cereal 
sponsor,for "The Monkee" commercials.

             The Monkee Mobile, Pontiac, 

            Wanted, Dean Jeffries, to Build.

              Pontiac wanted a 1966 GTO,

            that still looked like a GTO.

            They had in mind, a mild

            custom, Dean Jeffries, was to

            build, that looked like a GTO.

              The front was to have, the

            two stock GTO grills; and

           have two square headlights,

           and bezels, on each side,

           in place of the stock ones. 

              Pontiac, even allowed,

           removing the hood, to show,

           the full engine bay, which,

           you could see the full engine.

           A four-barrel carburetor,

          and a Cal Custom, four-

          barrel carburetor, four-

          baffle chrome hood scoop.

          There were even two curved

          pipes, on left and right, of

          the V-8 engine, being,

          a 389 CID, small block.

              As for the fender wells,

          keep them stock. But it

          could have Fenton five

          spoke mags. Also, the

          tires, had to fit, inside,

          the wheel wells. Yet, it

          could have taller tires,

          and opened up for slicks,

          in the wheel wells.

  

        

              As for the sport mirrors,

          they gave him freedom.

             It could have four-side

         exhaust, as long as they,

         were slender, or dummy 

         exhaust.

             Pontiac, gave the GTO,

         an automatic,

         two-speed transmission.

         As long as carburetors,

        were used, it could, use,

        this stock transmission.

            The interior, could have,

        four stock bucket seats, with,

        the console. But the dashboard,

        gauges, steering wheel, and 

        stock, convertible top, side 

        panels in the doors, must,

        be left alone, along, with the,

        front windshield, along with,

        the front and rear bumpers,

        and rear taillights, also, the

        tailpipes and the mufflers,

        underneath, and gas tank.

            If Dean Jeffries, had built,

       The Monkee Mobile, the way,

       Pontiac, had wanted it built;

       The Monkee Mobile, would,

       have looked, like this, and,

       Pontiac, would have, also,       

       have a funny car version,

       for drag strip use.

Accepting A Woman's Cycle Will Make You Both Happy 

      Have you ever heard:" a man thinks a woman feels"?

It's very true. While we were little boys making car 

sounds; the girls were speaking languages.

      See men want to fix things; and that's OK. 

However, those who in a relationship or married; 

need to avoid fixing their girlfriend's feelings. 

 

Instead of trying to fix what is bothering here, 

just listen.

       I learn this in Men's Heath online, the woman's

cycle.

 Just mark off the first sixteen days of the month.

These are the woman's good days. 

      However after these are the bad days.

 Just accept it men. 

      A woman can't changed how she's designed. 

     She's a  Ferrari with a V-16 engine.  

The precision engine is high maintenance and very

well tuned for a drive of a lifetime.

      But us guys are hotrods, we zoom here or their

to get things done.

       A woman loves pretty clothes to wear and sings 

and dances, and also into a fit body, healthy diet,

jogging, tennis, even to keep here body 

toned with weight lifting.

       However men like sports and other things like 

muscle building and into his football and basketball

hockey, baseball, and soccer.

        I not saying woman can't love these things too. 

       There are many woman that can out do men. Why? 

Women were designed with more endurance then a man. 

Go check the facts in JAMA and they will tell  this is 

right.

       On the first sixteen days of the month wear your

pretty clothes for him.

       Then do fun things together on these days.

       Let her wear comfort clothing on her bad days.

       Show more love her on her bad days.

      Give her flowers, chocolates and a gift for no 

reason. 

       

        Have fun with each other by planning

around her sixteen good days of her cycle.  

        Show empathy and love on the bad days men; 

otherwise she would feel you don't care about her.

        Accept both good and bad days of 

her cycle; and she will love you forever.

The Monkees Will Be Touring Summer 2014
   It was announced on March 15,2014,that 
The Monkees would have a concert reunion
tour the summer of 2014.More information
will be given,mid May 2014.With this in mind,
I when through found songs by Davy Jones,
Michael Nesmith,Peter Tork,and Micky
Dolenz.
   Beg The Monkees to play Tear Drop City,
Michael Nesmith has some very cool guitar
riffs,that will turn you on,and amaze you.We 
need this song.If Davy Jones was here he'd
say yes,let's to it,the crowds would love it.I
know Peter Tork left the group at this time,
but you can support Peter Tork,by encourag-
ing him to do this song with Michael Nesmith
and Micky Dolenz.The song Tear Drop City,
is in many video clips or on some albums.We
need this song sung for our 21st generation.
   Dear Ladies I know miss Davy Jones very
much,I do to I really truly feel for your with
much love.I going to give some real truth,
that when Pool It in 1987,Davy Jones said
this to Micky Dolenz,"you need to start
writing some songs."Why am I telling this,
Micky Dolenz didn't write one song on that
Pool It album.Yet Davy Jones did.He wrote
a song for you for ever how he felt about 
you ladies.The song is I'll Love You Forever,
written and sung by Davy Jones.I'll have this
song in video,for you,along with the Heart and
Soul 1987 Concert Tour.
    As for Micky Dolenz writing songs,last year,
was thinking of having all new songs written.He
has so many songs that it could fill volumns.We
will just wait to see if we get new songs in the
future.I have nothing against Micky Dolenz,as 
he twitted me through MidSummer Tour 2013
of The Monkees,and after.Infact last year our
lovable Micky Dolenz,suggested making a new
album with new songs.We'll just have to wait
and see.But for now we have the 2014 Reunion
Tour of The Monkees.I have found the 1986
20th Anniversary Comeback Reunion Tour,The
1987 Heart and Soul Tour,to 100 minutes.You'll
find surprizes in Star Collector video,Monkee
Madness and more.One 14 minute video takes
us through beginning,mixing The Monkees as
they sing today.You'll love all the albums of
songs Davy sings.It is my gift to you beautiful
